Advantages of Claw Pump
Corrosion free
While the pump doesn't use lubricants, it is susceptible to condensation with constant use. However, the vertical claw pumps are free draining. Therefore, there won't be any prolonged condensation within the pump, leading to fewer chances of corrosion and other related damages.
More flexibility
In certain dry vacuum pumps, the rotors contain a layer of coating that is very sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Moreover, recoating them becomes a very costly affair.
